i pretty much gave up any hope of inflicting any kind of emotional impact when i decided on utilizing this style for this particular story, bahaha. it's a premise i find hard to take seriously, so i'm not sure how convincingly i could've pulled regular narrative off. i'm just glad you're enjoying the style so far! :D
