iv. - this chapter was so perfect, in the sense that it actually made me UNCOMFORTABLE, as the reader. but i realized after a while, that that was the purpose! i felt like i was intruding on something the whole way through, like i shouldn't have been allowed to witness this struggle between david and david. even the scorching parts made me feel like i shouldn't have been reading, just because, jfc, the angst was so PALPABLE, jesus it was amazing.
v. - i don't even -- i don't even know what to SAY, just. archie and cook signing, and all of archie's signing STILL being in his voice, and the idols reuniting and the proposal and christ, i was so emotional over this one that after i finished the entire thing, i just wanted to stay in that world with them forever and never read the epilogue. my heart, nat. my heart.
epilogue - In a move that should be unprofessional but is instead strangely endearing, he promises me ten additional minutes of his time before excusing himself to take the call. - god, that is so cook, to make everyone fall in love with him even when he's doing something that would seem douchey coming from other celebrities. once again, your cook voice is fucking perfect, and i cannot even comprehend how well this entire thing was written.
i just, i want to make it a routine in my day to read this AT LEAST ONCE for the rest of my days on earth just because it is so beautiful and heart-wrenchingly terrific, and every single story was stand-alone but the entire work came together cohesively and, i just don't even know what to say except for thank you, thank you for writing this and sharing it and pushing through it even when things seemed insurmountable, and just, <33333
