I tend to dislike stories about Cobb never waking up/staying in limbo, mostly because after the great mindfuck that was the movie, my poor heart needs to have a happy, straightforward ending.
However, I decided to give this a chance and holy goddamned hell, it was amazing!
Poor, poor Arthur just broke my heart. After I spent most of the story wondering if all the happiness he was feeling was Cobb's subconscious trying to trap him, to have it revealed that it was his own subconscious working against him... ouch!
Really, this is why I ship him and Cobb, they're the only ones fucked up enough to be able to make things work.
