When I read this on the plane and the suspicion first hit me that Arthur had his own Cobb to touch, I was so wild with the tragedy of it that I had to curl up into a ball over my screen and kind of stupidly rock back and forth XDDD but then IT TURNED OUT THAT HE HAD HIS OWN COBB NOT BECAUSE HE WANTED TO STAY BUT BECAUSE HE THOUGHT COBB WANTED TO STAY and, and, and basically by that point I was physically gnawing at the screen with my teeth, because Arthur and Cobb, Arthur with Cobb, that is just so perfectly wonderfully it-- always these crossed intentions, Arthur trying to guess at what Cobb wants, trying to do something, anything, and never ever learning when it comes to Cobb. Because that's the way that they love, and god, it's so endless and bottomless and hopeless and beautiful. Thank you so much.
